Dr Amareshwar Satpathy

Dr. Amareshwar Satpathy is a Bhubaneswar-based Paediatrician and Neonatologist with hands-on training in advanced NICU and PICU care, vaccination, and high-risk neonatal management.

He completed his MBBS from Kalinga Institute of Medical Science, Bhubaneswar, followed by his Post Graduation in Paediatrics from IMS and SUM Hospital, one of Odisha’s leading teaching institutions. During his residency, he managed OPD, IPD, NICU, and PICU patients, building deep clinical exposure across the full spectrum of paediatric and neonatal conditions.

Before his post-graduation, Dr. Satpathy served as a Medical Officer at Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar through OPSC posting, where he handled emergency duties, general OPDs, blood and health camps, and was assigned charge of COVID Vaccination during the second wave.

He is currently serving as Senior Registrar at Utkal Hospital, where he manages NICU, PICU, and all types of neonatal and paediatric emergencies. He simultaneously holds consulting roles at Sum Ultimate Medicare, Apollo Hospital (Locum), and Kara Clinic, and runs his own clinic at Patia for vaccination, diet planning, and parental counselling.

Dr. Satpathy is trained in performing the full range of critical NICU and PICU procedures required for managing high-risk newborns and critically ill children. His procedural expertise includes Central Line and PICC Line insertion, Arterial Line placement, Intubation, Surfactant Therapy, Exchange Transfusion, and safe Transportation of High-Risk Babies.

He brings combined experience from government, tertiary teaching, and private hospital setups, giving him a strong foundation across emergency, ward, and intensive care environments. His keen interest lies in NICU and PICU management, where he is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care for neonates and children.
